August Task (where my birthday and salmonella collide)

I will answer the pork question first, as salmonella is so much more interesting than history lessons. The answer is 160 degrees.

Okay, so when I was -4 years old, Richard Nixon was greeted by a large crowd in Saginaw, Michigan.
Um, we can do better than that, can't we?
At -9, a Sergeant Sewart was talking about duties of air traffic controller and radio maintenance men in Vietnam.
I guess the Moon landing and Woodstock are reserved for cooler folk than I.
-20: something about a golf-wizard in Florida...
Ah ha! On my birthdate, in 1929, Henry Ford and the Prince of Prussia stand outside of a building.
I am officially awesome.
